What Are Driving Tours?

Our tours are conducted with ”Step-On” tour guides. This simply means that you provide the transportation and our guide rides with you, conducting the tour. The tours encompass the Summerville area including old Dorchester State Park and other interesting landmarks in the area. We do not give tours in Charleston, or of the plantations.

How Do I Set Up A Tour?

—- Decide on a day and time that you would like to have the tour, then give us a call or use ur contact form and we’ll do the rest.

When are tours conducted?

—- You may call us at (843) 817-8618 to set up a tour, either that day or date and time in the future.

How long are the tours?

—- You determine the length of the tour. Tours go anywhere from one hour to three hours. A one hour tour is the shortest tour we do. We recommend the two hour tour.

Where do they go?

—- Charleston has a set route for tours. Unlike Charleston, in Summerville we can design a tour that meets your interests. We will show you old houses, old Inns, and where inns and old hotels used to be. We can show you sculptures, Azalea Park and old downtown Summerville. Your tour guide can tell you the history of Summerville. They can tell you about the train coming in the early 1830s and about Summerville being spilt into new and old, as well as how Summerville has grown in the past few years.
